Take þe Flowþerys of Hawthorun; boyle hem & presse hem, bray hem smal, temper hem vppe wyth Almaunde Milke, & lye it with Abyndoun & Gratyd brede & flowre of Rys; take Sugre y-now & put þer-to, or Hony in defawte, & colowre it wyth þe same þat þe flowrys ben, & serue forth.
